Born by the banks of the Rhine River, Klaus Stenzhorn was inspired from an early age to pursue his dreams with passion and dedication. His adventurous spirit led him to travel across more than 120 countries, where he became fascinated by the beauty of nature—from the fiery sunsets of Africa to the lush Amazon rainforest. A lifelong animal lover, he admired the elegance of the jungle’s majestic felines.

His journey took a defining turn in Colombia, where a visit to an emerald mine awakened his deep appreciation for precious gemstones. Captivated by their brilliance, he began collecting rare gems from around the world, from Sri Lanka’s deep blue sapphires to Burma’s fiery rubies. In 1979, his passion culminated in the founding of Stenzhorn House of Jewellery. For over 40 years, the family-owned brand has been dedicated to creating exceptional jewellery, blending exquisite design with the finest gemstones.
